Keynote Address, 2011 OFCCP Regulatory and Enforcement Update

This session will examine the significant regulatory, policy, and enforcement changes that have occurred at OFCCP since 2009, including OFCCP's proposed overhaul of its veterans-related affirmative action requirements, planned changes to the AAP requirements for persons with disabilities, new "Active Case Enforcement" audit procedures, and proposed changes to the agency's standard audit scheduling letter.

You need to know the legal issues and the key compliance implications of these tools are used for recruiting and screening including what your recruiters may not be telling you. Are they mining inappropriate personal information about applicants from social media sites? A Young Marine's Story of Courage, Hope, and a New Life in the NFL follows his journey from his enlistment then on to active duty in Fallujah, through two years of rehab, and ultimately to his job as the community spokesman for the Indianapolis Colts. Participants will be inspired by his undying enthusiasm, infectious joy, and sense of humor. Everyone has had that "one bad day." Josh discovered that life begins when we embrace our bad days and keep going forward, one step at a time.
